StoicDash never touches, records, or re-streams anything. Embeddable platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Vimeo) play through their official players. Everything else — Netflix, ESPN, Max — opens in its own real window. Window arrangement requires the companion extension.

A channel is just a recipe: sources + layout. Share it as a link. No channel account required — the whole channel travels in the URL.

Live sources auto-focus. Audio follows the tile you care about. Focus rotates on your schedule during downtime. The canvas adapts to what's actually happening.

How to build a channel

  1. Open the canvas and add a supported video or channel URL.
  2. Choose Grid, Focus, Split or Theater to arrange your sources.
  3. Use Share to copy a channel link.

Does a shared link include subscriptions?

No. It shares sources and layout, not access rights. Viewers need their own subscriptions, sign-ins and permission to watch each source. Availability and embedding rules depend on each platform.

What does StoicDash store?

The channel recipe travels in the URL fragment. Avoid putting private source URLs into links you share. Read the privacy page for details about the site and third-party players.
